Sarah Rose (b. 1994) is a South African artist who is self-taught, forever learning & loves a good adventure. 

She grew up in Somerset West, under the eyes of a mountain range, beside the sea & almost always with a book in hand. 

Sarah's studies have ranged from a Bachelor of Journalism from Rhodes University, a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from Tesside University, a TEFL certificate obtained in Prague, & a Masters in English (Creative Writing) from Stellenbosch University. Between, during & after these studies, she explored as much of the world as possible. These travels included much of Europe, a sprinkle of South East Asia, a trip to China, time in the UK, half a year in South America & most recently & more permanently, the USA. 

Her favorite souvenir from these travels is her husband, Paul, who she met in the Philippines.

Her exhibitions have included a collection of portraits painted in South America, a homegrown exhibition of South African birds & botanicals, & an open studio sale in Somerset West prior to her unplanned immigration. She also exhibited in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic & Austin, TX.
